When we show this product some people may hesitate to put their full weight on the OutBack Pack Portable Toilet. Once they feel how solid it is, they realize this product is more than strong enough to do what it is designed for.

Early in the design stages of this product it was decided that being user friendly, strong and kind to the environment were at the top of the list. This is why corrugated paper board is ideal!

Sure we can make it out of plastic and charge a lot more but it is not necessary to do so when this material can handle the job.
If you are worried about water, here are a couple of tips to make your OutBack Pack resistant to moisture.
Make your OutBack Pack water resistant
Push the lock tabs back through the lock tab slots and lay the OutBack Pack on a flat surface. Apply a medium coat of paste wax (just like waxing your car) only do not buff it off. Coat both the front, back and all edges. This should take about 10 minutes. Another option is to spray a light to medium coat of acrylic clear coat on all sides (in a ventilated area). When dry re-assemble. Both of these methods are proven to work.
